Precautions for long-term shutdown of dust removal equipment

 

1: If the dust removal equipment is not needed for a long time, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the inside and outside of the dust removal equipment, replace the filter bag, and clean the dust collection port.

 

2: Long term cessation of use requires cutting off various connected pipelines, and wet dust removal equipment requires cutting off water source connections.

 

3: During the shutdown period, it is important to regularly clean the fan and perform rust removal on the equipment to prevent static dust and moisture from entering the bearings and causing corrosion.

 

4: Pay attention to the moisture prevention of the motor and control system, and clean all the dust in the dust hopper when stopping operation, without leaving a large amount of dust. If the motor is exposed on the outside, it needs to be covered and its surface needs to be treated with some anti-corrosion measures.

 

5: When the bag filter equipment stops running, it can be air operated every week or so to ensure that the dust removal system remains in operation.

 

6: Some bag type dust removal equipment may experience moisture condensation inside the bag chamber, indicating the presence of humid gases in the bag chamber, and some high-temperature gases may be difficult to discharge separately. Before the system cools down, the moist gas should be discharged and then replaced with dry air.

 

7: Before the dust removal equipment stops running far, the corresponding exhaust fan needs to run for a period of time before it can stop running.

 
8: Before stopping, it is necessary to record the pressure difference of the system, the gas temperature at the inlet and outlet, the voltage of the main motor, the pressure of the auxiliary motor, the current value passing through, the use of the filter bag, and the dust removal efficiency value in advance, so that the values can be checked during the next start-up.
